On Campus Alliances

Our advocacy work continues to focus on bringing together a strong cross-disability alliance of students with disabilities. Working closely with disabled staff and faculty is also a priority.

Access UVic! is committed to building cooperative relationships with all groups on campus. Our goal is to work collaboratively with student groups, faculty members, the University Administration and the University’s disability service provider, the Resource Centre for Students with Disabilities (RCSD).

We believe it's important to recognize the political and historical framework of the disability rights movement and the role of our group within it. We value our links to a broad cross section of disability advocacy organizations around the world.
